We offer screen-printing as well as digital t-shirt printing.

Digital t-shirt printing can only be done on white and light colored t-shirts or on any other seam-free 100% cotton
material such as towels. It is most economical for small
quantity orders or orders requiring many colors in their
design. There are no minimums on digital t-shirt printing.
We can print a photo onto a t-shirt without the use of
transfers. The ink used is a pigment ink which is created specifically for use on 100% cotton fabrics. If laundered without bleach additives, the design does not wash out
or fade.

Screen-printing, also know as silk screening, is the most popular for t-shirt decoration. It is most economical for
larger orders with as few colors as possible since there is
a screen charge for each color. A screen (or stencil) is
burned for each color part of the design and a thick
plastisol ink is passed over the stencil thus creating a design
on the garment. The garment is then heated in an oven of
sorts to set the ink. Vector artwork is required to create the screens. Please see the “General Info” section for more information on art requirements.

Art Specefications

• In order to avoid an art charge all designs must be vector
art saved as one of the following extentions, .eps, .ai, and
.cdr (please note that opening a .jpg file in a graphics
program and saving as an .eps will NOT be accepted; the design should have been created originally as a vector file). Files can be emailed to admin@signatureoutfitters.com or provided on a disc or 3.5 floppy.
• For digital printing and 4-color process printing, .jpg files
less than 300 D.P.I. may not be usable without some modification which will result in an art charge.
• All production times commence after artwork approval.
